The sinking of HMAS Sydney, June 2004
HMAS Sydney was build by Steven Cowan as an unarmed fast transport for his daughter, but when she proved to not be interested it was sold to Graham Elliot who brought Sydney along to the 2004 June Nationals. Graham is a canny and cautious skipper but Sydney was having trouble making her speed and she wss hunted down by the USS Alabama. Click on a photo for a enlarged version |
